We’re Treading On Thin Ice
The brand We’re Treading On Thin Ice was created as a campaign to increase awareness around melting glaciers and the effect it has on the environment, our population and wildlife. The campaign encourages people to decrease their carbon footprint through posters and social media.
Brand Logo
The brand logo uses figure and ground to depict the polar bear and glaciers in one image. It’s simple but very effective. The clever naming of the campaign also allows for the design to reflect the issue. The word ‘thin’ is much smaller in width compared to the other words displaying how our glaciers are shrinking.
Social Media
Social media is an important part of a campaign. It keeps people updated on what you are doing and it allows for the information to be spread to other people really quickly.

These posters would be plastered around local streets with a lot of foot traffic. The aim is for people to start familiarising themselves with the brand. This helps to build trust with the public when the campaign starts pushing more events and calls to action out.
